In recent decades, however, commercial mass manufacturing compromised this holy craft. Industrial sticks became infused with toxic black charcoal dust, chemical combustion accelerants, and synthetic petrochemical fragrances that left behind choking smoke and caused respiratory discomfort.
Madhava Aroma Products was founded in 1998 in Mysuru with an unshakeable vow: to return to our Vedic roots. We formulated 100% charcoal-free masala incense sticks made solely from pure botanicals—aged Mysore Sandalwood heartwood, real Commiphora Guggal, Styrax Benzoin (Loban), dried temple offerings, and pure cold-pressed flower absolutes.
